Child Health Services
Baby Clinic is held every Tuesday afternoon for children’s immunisations.
Minor Surgery
Minor Surgery clinics are held on a Tuesday afternoon on an ad hoq basis, for removal of small cysts and skin tags etc.
Health Promotion & Chronic Disease Management
These services are offered by the Practice and are accessed by making an appointment with the Practice Nurse/HCA. Health Promotion includes new Patient Checks, Holiday Vaccinations, Travel Advice, Cervical Cytology, Family Planning, Well Woman and Well Man Checks, Lifestyle, Smoking Cessation, Diet and Exercise Advice and Flu/Pneumococcal Vaccination.
Chronic Disease Management
Chronic Disease Management is also a nurse led service including Asthma/COPD, Diabetes and Coronary Heart Disease/Hypertension management, where the practice expects to see patients suffering from these diseases every three to twelve months, depending on how well controlled their condition is. The Nurse for Chronic Disease Management is Rachel Wray and the lead GP is Dr Perveen.
PHYSIO/MSK
We have a Clinical Physiotherapist that works one day per month at the practice - please ask reception for further details.
Non NHS Work
The Doctor is often asked to perform private medicals, complete forms or write letters on behalf of patients. This is not nhs work and therefore a charge is applicable for this type of work. Non NHS work is charged, as per BMA guidelines, at £190.00 per hour. To see our price list ask at reception for details.
MIND Services
We have a MIND worker with us in Surgery every Monday afternoon. Patients can self-refer themselves or be referred by a clinician if they are experiencing mental-health issues. The MIND worker can deliver low-level CBT or refer patients onwards for more intense therapy if necessary. Please ask at reception for more details.
Phlebotomy Service
Clinics are available to book in advance with our inhouse phlebotomist, please ask a member of staff if an appointment is required.
Travel Clinic
We offer appointments for travel vaccinations and advice in specialised clinics. Please complete a Travel Form using this E-consultation link. We ask that you give at least 6 weeks before your travel date.
